A Different Perspective

Excitement before the flight
Brittany, my (former) teammate, and I had a unique opportunity last week. She had been asked to edit the website of one of her students. In exchange for doing this, Brittany was given a free flight for up to three people that would take her around Prague and the surrounding area. I was lucky enough to join her. It was a great experience! We flew over the outskirts of Prague and the countryside, and on to Karlstejn (a castle located about 30 minutes from Prague). Here are a few pictures (sorry about the quality, I only used my phone's camera).

View of the airport
Throughout the flight, I was struck by how a new position can change one's perspective. Here I was flying over Prague...and yet, it was a very different view and experience of Prague than I normally have. I was able to see far into the distance and notice things that I don't notice when I'm on the ground.

Kind of like life. When I step back from a situation, or view it from another angle, things take on a new perspective.

Hope you enjoy the new perspective of Prague too. :)
